EXPLANATORY NOTE
SUMMARY
1. The purpose of the amendment is to correct a typographical error in a date.
DETAILS OF THE AMENDMENT
2. The amendment substitutes ?2002? for ?2001? in paragraph 5A(17)(a) Schedule 9 FA 1996 (inserted by paragraph 23 Schedule 25 to the Bill). All other references in the Schedule to accounting periods to which the Schedule first applies are to 1 October 2002, and this reference used 2001 in error.
