Consultation on deregulating freight forwarding insurance
A consultation by HM Treasury seeking views and evidence on the Government's intention to remove the insurance activities of freight forwarders from the scope of Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulation.
The consultation opened on 21 December 2006 and closed on 22 March 2007. 14 responses were received to the consultation. The proposed changes have been made by Statutory Instrument, which came into force on 20 July 2007.
