27 July 2009

This consultation seeks views on FSA and HM Treasury proposals to introduce a protected cell regime for UK Open-Ended Investment Companies. These proposals have been developed following stakeholder responses to the consultation on better regulation measures for the asset management sector launched in May 2007.

Once again, we would welcome feedback to our proposals. Please send responses to:

Matthew Cowie, Savings and Investments, HM Treasury, 1 Horse Guards Road, London, SW1A 2HQ

E-mail: matthew.cowie@hm-treasury.gov.uk

The deadline is 27 September 2009.
