Regulating Mortgages

28 October 2002

The purpose of this consultation is to seek the views on how the Treasury plans to implement the decision - announced on 12 December 2001 - that mortgage advice and intermediaries would be regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). The document seeks views on a number of technical matters as well as on the draft Orders that will put the decision into effect.
