The Government has delivered a package of tax and regulatory changes to enhance the competitiveness of the UK as a place for funds to locate. Budget 2009 concludes this package, with the announcement of:

This paper sets out an overview of the package and further details of the Budget 2009 announcements. The Government welcomes industry views on the draft regulations contained in the paper.
