The Government welcomes submissions regarding ways in which the responsibility for regulating Common Investment Funds (CIF's) and Common Deposit Funds (CDF's) can be more fully transferred from the Charity Commission to the Financial Services Authority. This consultation documents explores a proposal to achieve this aim whilst preserving existing tax reliefs.
