Opportunities for Temporary Work

There is currently no vacancies for temporary work - Please go to  current vacancies page  to view vacancies within other areas.

Our limited number of temporary work placements covers roles from administrative through to policy analyst or specialist fields. These placements are usually for a few weeks or months and last no more than 12 months.

The Cabinet Office runs a summer development programme for undergraduates looking for a 6-8 week placement in the Civil Service.  HM Treasury take on summer placements from this development programme – for further information please visit the Faststream site

If you are currently an undergraduate studying economics (Economics needs to be at least 50% of your degree) then the Government Economic Service also offer temporary work placements.
