OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIOR ROLES
Senior Civil Servants provide high-level support to government ministers and play a major part in developing and implementing government policy and services.
We have about 80 senior managers leading our teams and Directorates, either as Managing Directors, Directors, and Team Leaders. These are all challenging, high-profile roles influencing financial, economic and social policies in the UK and abroad.
You will certainly find yourself at the front line of shaping, influencing and delivering policies that sustain growth and productivity and help provide a stable UK economy. You will need to engage a wide range of stakeholders both in and outside of Government and provide high quality advice to Ministers. Most importantly you will be a role model and an inspirational leader in managing the high quality teams we have. Opportunities also exist to work on loan or secondment to other organisations or Treasury related posts in the EU, or the World Bank in Washington.
Senior Civil Servants are required to demonstrate the following competences:
