Supporting young people to achieve: the Government’s response to the consultation

The review of financial support for 16-19 year olds aims to ensure all young people have the support and incentives they need to participate in education or training.  'Supporting young people to achieve', published alongside Budget 2004, launched a public consultation on the Government’s long-term vision of a single, coherent system of financial support for young people.  The document below sets out the Government’s response to the consultation and outlines the next steps in the review.

'Supporting young people to achieve: the Government’s response to the consultation' is available below in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). If you do not have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer you can download the software free of charge from the Adobe website.
