The Financial Statement and Budget Report (FSBR), published by HM Treasury on 17 April 2002, includes a discussion of economic developments and prospects (Chapter B).  The present document reproduces charts and tables contained in Chapter B, and also includes additional information in the form of more detailed charts and tables. The charts and tables are consistent with national accounts and balance of payments statistics to the fourth quarter of 2001, released by the Office for National Statistics on 27 March 2002.
