Annual Report and Accounts 2008-09

The HM Treasury Annual Report and Accounts 2008-09 was published on Monday 20 July 2009.

In this document the Treasury Group (HM Treasury, the Office of Government Commerce and the UK Debt Management Office) has combined its spring Departmental Report with its Resource Accounts to form a single report, giving a comprehensive account of the Treasury's use of resources in 2008-09.

This year's Annual Report and Accounts has two sections as follows:

Section 1 comprising the Treasury's Annual Departmental Report which provides information about the progress made by the Group on its each of its Departmental Strategic Objectives and those Public Service Agreements on which it leads. In addition information is also provided on the progress the Group has made against its corporate objectives.
Section 2 comprising the Resource Accounts, including: the Statement of Parliamentary Supply; Operating Cost Statement; Balance Sheet; and Consolidated Cash Flow Statement.
