M20 Junction 11-12 Drainage Works
The Project
Works to install new drainage channels on the M20 between junction 11 and 12 near Folkestone in Kent started on Sunday 21 March and finished on Sunday 18 April.
New drainage channels were installed in the central reservation between the Londonbound and coastbound carriageway along a 1.9 mile (3km) section. These channels will improve drainage on the road by allowing water to run away from the carriageway and into the drainage channels.
