M4 Woodlands St Mary
The Project
Major maintenance work on the M4 between Membury Service Station and Woodlands St. Mary is now complete. The scheme involved the resurfacing of the carriageway, hardening of the central reserve, installation of a central reserve concrete barrier, drainage upgrade and structural work to the bridges.
Reviews are currently taking place into the environmental management of this site, in line with the Dormouse licence requirements.
There will still be further overnight lane closures to allow for minor outstanding works.
