A5 Europark
A5 Europark
The Project
Improvements to the A5 Watling Street to provide a priority junction for access to the Europark site and closure of the current access junction.
The works involved:
- Construction of a right turn lane into the site (southbound)
- Closure of the existing central reserve gap and creation of a new gap
- Construction of merge and diverge tapers on the northbound carriageway
- Renewal of road markings and studs
- Resetting of ironworks and manhole covers
- Installation of new concrete kerbs and traffic signs
The project started at the end of April 2010 and completed in August 2010.
