The Project Control Framework

The Project
The aim of this scheme is to increase safety for the road user on this stretch of the A458.
The scheme comprises the construction of two right turn facilities into the Shell Petrol Station/Shop (formerly BP Garage) and the Saffron Cottage Indian Restaurant (formerly Pavement Gates Inn public house) including:
- Relocation of E.on and BT services (electrical overhead to remain overhead)
- Carriageway widening and construction
- Footway construction
- Pedestrian Crossings including refuge island in the middle of the road and tactile paving.
- Drainage works
- Road Markings
- Road Signs
