The Project

The Highways Agency carried out work to resurface and part reconstruct sections of both carriageways of the A45 east of Ryton on Dunsmore in Warwickshire.

The works started on Sunday 1st November 2009 and were completed on the 29th March 2010.

The works were needed to maintain the carriageway in a safe condition since parts of the carriageway and its surface reached the end of their serviceable life.

The works ran from the Ryton on Dunsmore Island (A445) to the Memorial Island (B4455 Fosse Way) near Stretton on Dunsmore.
