A40 Huntley Hill Barrier Repair
The Project
Testing of the existing safety barrier on the A40 at Huntley Hill has identified that it did not meet the required level of protection. For the safety of the travelling public, 500m of new barrier was installed on the carriageway and a temporary speed limit of 40mph introduced.
The works were completed on 18 december 2009.
