The Project

The Highways Agency has completed overnight carriageway repair work to the A428 at three locations;  the Tesco Roundabout at Eynesbury, the Tithe Farm Roundabout at the eastern end of the St Neots Bypass and sections of the A428 between Wintringham Hall and Croxton, all between St Neots and Caxton Gibbet in Cambridgeshire.

The works were to replace sections of the worn out road surface, new road markings and to clean existing drainage systems.  The works started on the evening of Monday 10 August 2009 and completed by the morning of Friday 21 August 2009.
