The Project

We have completed overnight safety work at M25 junction 24, near Potters Bar in Hertfordshire. The work included improving the skid resistance of the existing concrete surface and re-aligning the clockwise entry slip at junction 24 into a single lane entry.

The works started on 10th August 2009 between the hours of :

10.00pm - 05.30am Monday to Thursday
11.00pm - 07.00am Friday
10.00pm - 07.00am Saturday and
10.30pm - 05.30am Sunday

The work included improving the skid resistance of the existing concrete surface and re-aligning the clockwise entry slip at junction 24 into a single lane entry. By doing these safety improvements, drivers will benefit from improved road surface and the revised single lane entry slip road will remove vehicle conflict that can occur from having two lanes of traffic merging onto the motorway.
