A21 Pembury Bypass Slip Road Widening Works
The Project
Improvement work to reduce congestion on the A21 in Kent by widening the London-bound exit slip road at Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells was completed in November 2009.
The A21 London-bound exit slip road to the A228/A264 roundabout had its two-lane approach extended. This will reduce congestion around the slip road and help filter traffic wanting to turn left or right at the roundabout.
