The Project

A 120m section along the embankment of the southbound side of the A483 north of Pant village was in need of stabilisation/repair.

The road surface on this section of carriageway also needed replacing.

The repair works started on 8th March 2010 and were completed on 12  April 2010.  The embankment was made safe by supporting it with Gabian Walls (stones within caged areas).

Associated footway improvements on the northbound side of the A483 at Pant which were co-ordinated with the embankment stabilization works have now been completed.
