A30 Alphington Underbridge Repairs
The Project
The concrete beneath the two bridges which carry the A30 over the Alphington Roundabout required some repairs and general maintenance. The concrete was thoroughly cleaned off and repaired using specialist materials.
We also took the opportunity to construct a maintenance layby and footpath in the centre of the roundabout, so that our maintenance teams can park their vehicles safely and access equipment beside the trunk road.
The works began in July and were completed by the end of August 2009
