The Project
The third phase of improvements to the drainage system on the M3 between junctions 3 and 4 in Surrey is now complete.
The scheme involved replacing the existing verge drainage on the southbound carriageway with a new and more effective drainage system, ensuring the carriageway remains safe and reliable for drivers.
Work on the 1km (0.6m) stretch of motorway began on 22 June 2009 and was completed in late September.
