Where
The scheme is located on the A49 between Onibury level crossing and the village of Bromfield
When
The works started on the 4th of August 2009 and was completed on 19 November 2009.
What did we do?
The re-surfacing works involved overlaying the existing carriageway with 200mm of new surfacing materials together with associated kerbing work and re-setting of manholes and gulleys.
Why did we need to do this work?
The existing carriageway was showing signs of failure. It has required numerous areas of patching to keep it in a safe and serviceable condition for the road user.
