M20 Lacton Way Bridge Strengthening
The Project
Safety work to strengthen a footbridge on the M20 near Ashford in Kent started on Sunday in May 2009 and has now been completed.
The work will enhance the structure of Lacton Way footbridge, which runs over the M20 near junction 10, by increasing the thickness of the existing concrete pier and protecting it from vehicle impact.
