The Project

Works to refurbish the M20 Canterbury Road (A28) overbridge, near junction 9 at Ashford, started Monday in the summer of 2009 and are now complete.

The works were to renew the current parapets on the bridge which will protect the structure from an impact by a vehicle. The safety barriers on the approach to the bridge were also upgraded.  Both these measures will ensure the ongoing safety of road users on the bridge.
