A419 Blunsdon Bypass Construction Progress - December 2008

General

The new southbound carriageway form Castle Eaton Junction to Turnpike opened on the evening of the 15th November.

Traffic leaving Swindon from Thamesdown Drive and wanting to join the M4 will now do so via the new Thamesdown to Lady Lane link road which joins the new carriageway via Lady Lane Bridge.

Traffic travelling south and wanting to enter Swindon will now do so by leaving the slip road at Lady Lane Bridge and travelling down the Lady Lane Thamesdown Link Road into Swindon.
