The Project

The landscaping works along the M4 between junctions 3 and 5 will entail scrub clearance and tree and shrub removal, re-seeding of grass areas in poor condition, and coppicing/thinning of existing planted areas. Trees and shrubs will be cut back in places including vegetation overhanging adjacent footpaths.   Works to remove scrub on the central reservation between junction 4 and 4b will be carried out at night.

The scheme started on the 5th January 2009 and is estimated for completion on the 31st March 2009.
