The Project

This section of the A30 to the west of Exeter was first constructed in 1976. The surface showed signs of fatigue and required replacement. The westbound carriageway was resurfaced with low noise material. The opportunity was also taken to upgrade the safety barrier, improve drainage from the road and upgrade the road signs.

Work started on 19 January and was completed by Easter 2009.
