A38 Blackbrook Farm Access Improvements
A38 Blackbrook Farm Access Improvements
The Project
Works started on Monday 5th January 2009 to improve the access to Blackbrook Antiques Village located on the A38 south of A5 Weeford Island in Staffordshire. The work was estimated to take approximately 12 weeks to complete. The works were undertaken by The Highways Agency on behalf of the Antiques Village who are funding the works.
A new wider access was built with entry and exit slip road tapers. The existing access gap in the central reservation was closed and the gap opposite Little Hay Lane was modified to deter U turns. All future access to Blackbrook Antiques Village for A38 northbound traffic will be via Weeford Island.
