The Project

We installed traffic signals on the existing Emstrey Roundabout in order to reduce queues and delay on the approaches, particularly the A5 eastbound (AM and PM). The road markings was changed so that there are 3 lanes on the A5 approaching the stop line instead 2. Anti skid surfacing was placed on all traffic signal approaches. Pedestrian/Cyclist facilities improved across the roundabout and tactile paving was laid at crossings. New signs werel be installed.
