M4 Spittleborough Access Over Bridge Replacement
The Project
The previous three span structure was constructed to maintain farm access over the M4 between junctions 16 and 17. The bridge did not meet current standards for collision loading and was difficult to maintain. It was replaced with a modern single span structure and completed on 26 August 2009.
