The Project

The bridge is located on the M53 between junctions 1 and 2 was originally constructed in 1972.  The bridge carries over 59000 vehicles a day.

The bridge has been examined and it has been found that various minor repairs are required.  At the same time as carrying out these repairs the bridge will be resurfaced and the joints and barriers will be replaced. 

The work has now been successfully completed.
