A50/A500 Queensway Interchange Bridges - Paint Survey Works
The Project
Paint testing works have been completed on the Queensway Interchange Bridges located to the south of Stoke-on-Trent linking the A50 to the A500. The work was necessary to ensure the effective performance of the paint in safeguarding the structural integrity of the bridge beams.
All work was carried out over-night when traffic was less busy, to limit delays to road users. When the carriageway closures were in place traffic from the A500 was diverted over the Queensway Interchange via the entry and exit slip roads.
Work started on the 12th January and was completed on the 14th January.
