The Project

Work to repair a culvert carrying a tributary to the River Ouzel under the M1 Motorway near Junction 13, Bedfordshire is now complete.

Work started on Monday 22 September 2008 and completed in late January 2009.  The work was carried out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The culvert passes under the M1 one mile (1.5km) north of Junction 13 and the work involved repairs to the concrete and the rewaterproofing of the structure.
