The Project

The purpose of the work was to renew the worn out road surface on both the east and west bound carriageways of the A38 to the east of Ashburton. This section of the A38 was first constructed in several phases between 1968 and 1974.

We also upgraded the safety barrier and signs, and carried out maintenance of the drainage system.  Works were completed December 2008.
