- Commencing on Monday 8th November 2010 at approximately 0930 hours there will be a lane 1 closure on the A46 northbound from approximately one mile south of the new Sherbourne roundabout to the new roundabout. This is to enable grass cutting of the verges and central reservation to take place. A lane 2 closure will follow this for the same purpose. These closures will not last beyond 1600hours. There will be further closures during this week up to and including Friday 12th November 2010 between 0930 hours and 1600hours for completion of verge and central reserve grass cutting and some minor works to verge and structures.
Note
Wellesbourne Market each Saturday mornings does mean that the A46/M40 J15 is busy and so it is possible that unavoidable weekend works may make this congestion seem worse.
Works to the J15 roundabout will continue through to July 2010 and will largely be at night where lane closures are required to avoid congestion and delays. Extra care should be taken.
Advanced warning signs are erected on site and remote from site on approach routes to warn of the works. Speed restrictions will only remain in place where needed for safety of the traveling public and the workforce.
