M5 Junction 5 Improvement Scheme 2008-2009
The Project
The scheme introduced traffic signals where the northbound exit slip road from the M5 meets the A38 at the roundabout.
M5 Junction 5 Exit Slip Roundabout
We have carried out some carriageway widening, anti skid surfacing and revised lane markings to improve capacity through the junction and reduce queuing.
Works commenced in early February 2009 and was completed by 27 March 2009.
