Journey Times

Live Journey Times

Journey times on the A3 between Thursley and Liphook continue to be governed by conditions at the Hindhead traffic lights.  To give drivers more information about the journey times we have erected mobile variable message signs which use data from Trafficmaster to display current journey times to Hindhead.

You can also find details of the current journey times by following the link below:

Averaged Journey Times

The live journey time data is stored and then averaged over the previous eight week period for the same time of day and day of the week. This indicates the typical journey time for the particular period. Follow the link below and click on the northbound or southbound button to select the direction and then select the day of the week..

The information on journey times will enable regular drivers to plan their journeys better. Initial results indicate that for most of the time it is better to stay on the A3 rather than travel around the country lanes to avoid the Hindhead lights.
