A27 junction with A2270 Traffic Signals
The Project
Improvement works at the A27 junction with the A2270 in Polegate, East Sussex started on Monday 18 September and are were finished in under four weeks.
The works were to install a new traffic light system at the junction with the A2270 in Polegate which will improve the flow of traffic at the junction. The lights are linked to detectors in the road, which recognise the presence of cars.
The lights are linked to each other and will turn green as traffic approaches from the previous set of lights.
