A suite of eight posters and two postcard treatments are designed to reinforce the serious messages delivered by the DVD and radio formats. The poster treatments feature people working within four distinct environments that members of the general public can relate to, these include:
- A company board meeting (with supporting statement) (PDF 727KB)
- A company board meeting (without supporting statement) (PDF 820KB)
- A teacher and pupils (with supporting statement) (PDF 805KB)
- A teacher and pupils (without supporting statement) (PDF 899KB)
- A patient being attended to by hospital staff (with supporting statement) (PDF 629KB)
- A patient being attended to by hospital staff (without supporting statement) (PDF 699KB)
- An office worker at her desk (PDF 735KB)
- A Roadworker Sign (PDF 1MB)
- Respect (Postcard) (PDF 501KB)
- Respect Our Road Workers DVD Wrap - Page 1 (1.73 MB PDF)
- Respect Our Road Workers DVD Wrap - Page 2 (2.8 MB PDF)
However, the people in each environment are positioned on or next to a busy motorway, trunk or rural road. The headline 'Imagine doing your job here' is supported by the statement:
- Roadworks are a place of work, and the people there deserve just as much respect as you would want at work. On busy roads, day or night, in all weathers, they risk their lives improving our highways. Keeping them open. When you see roadworks, reduce your speed, drive with more care and keep them safe. Respect our Road Workers. Think!
Postcards remind drivers of what to do when approaching roadworks and publicise the Traffic England website and 'traffic updates' phone number.
