Better Information

We have launched the latest edition of our journey planning booklet, Think Ahead Move Ahead.  The booklet aims to provide you with information in an easy to read format to help you plan your journey and includes updated information about our services and safety advice. It contains details of useful services to give you up-to-date traffic information when and where you want it including information about our traffic officers, diversion routes, location signs and how we can make more sustainable travel choices.

Our customer research tells us that there is a growing trend for road users to plan their journeys and this booklet promotes awareness of our information services and the benefits of using them.  A well planned journey is likely to be more reliable and could help decrease congestion and minimise our impact on the environment.

So that you have a choice in how to access the information contained in the booklet we are now launching an updated web version of Think Ahead Move Ahead as well as a printable version to download from this site.  If you would like a hard copy which includes a free road atlas or give feedback about this or any other aspect of our service, please call our information line on: 0300 123 5000.
