Training and Development
Driving Skills
We see our graduates as the people who will be driving the Agency forward in years to come through their leadership of people, projects and processes. So we invest heavily in nurturing those skills through a structured development plan.
The scheme involves a series of leadership development opportunities including specific workshops and courses such as the Foundation in Work Management, leading to an accreditation from the Institute of Leadership and Management. You'll receive first class training in project management, along with leadership practice courses and 360° feedback and coaching sessions. And you'll always have access to our Learning & Development Directory, a comprehensive source of training opportunities you can use to address any development needs you've identified.
Every six months, your one-to-one reviews with your Line Manager will draw on your own analysis of your progress and your aims as well as external appraisal. All this will feed into an action plan that will provide the focus for the next phase of your development. There will always be a big emphasis on self-driven development - making use of, but not depending on, your support network to shape your own career.
