A small display of eleven drawings by artist Alexandra Blum which highlight the changing nature of Dalston. The drawings will be on display in the museum's lower concourse area.

Young People at the Geffrye

On display from 14 February - 13 May 2012


Although the Olympic and Paralympic Games are nearly here, the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad has been going on since the last games were held in Bejing, 2008. Here at the Geffrye the Cultural Olympiad has meant getting lots of young people involved with the museum and looking afresh at the collections as part of the Stories of the World project.

The portraits on display here introduce eleven young people who have been working with the museum in a wide variety of ways. They chose an object from the collection to be photographed with and this is what they had to say…
