Middle East Peace Process

Following the escalation of violence in Gaza both the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary have called publicly and privately for an immediate and permanent ceasefire. The UK is at the centre of efforts to halt the violence and secure urgent humanitarian assistance.

The Foreign Office is in close contact with the United States, our EU partners, and leaders in the Middle East.
