Timing of election counts issues paper
We believe it is time to consider whether there needs to be a change in the way decisions on the timing of counts are made - in order to deliver benefits for voters, candidates standing in elections and those responsible for delivering the elections. We have published a paper to seek views on whether changes are needed.
We have published a research report on Great Britain's electoral registers. This research, funded by the Cabinet Office, provides current national estimates of the completeness of registers in England and Wales and estimates of the accuracy of registers across Great Britain.
