generationXperience
The generationXperience campaign celebrates the opportunities, achievements, aspirations and the tremendous financial and social contributions that people over 50 are making to our society. The first UK Day for Older People – called generationXperience – was on Monday 1 October 2007.
generationXperience is a partnership between a number of government departments, led by the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department of Health. Key external stakeholders are also involved, including Better Government for Older People, the International Longevity Centre, Help the Aged, Age Concern and around 20 other organisations that represent the interests and views of older people.
