The Government is committed to a wide ranging consultation process on Simplicity, Security and Choice: Working and saving for retirement. A programme of consultation events will be held, banded under three broad themes: Future of work, Savings and Taxation and The New Regulatory Approach.

The consultation process, which runs from 18 December 2002 until 28 March 2003, aims to take views from academics, the pensions industry, pensioner representative organisations, employers' and employees' representative organisations and pensions practitioners.
