with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is responsible for collecting, compiling, analysing, and disseminating a range of statistics relating to business, employment relations, enterprises, further and higher education and innovation.

Some are designated as ‘National Statistics’ (NS) produced in accordance with the principles set out in the Code of Practice for Official Statistics. The Department is committed to following the code of practice for the NS series it produces and will make its best efforts to comply with them.
