The award of Bradley's Military Medal appeared in the London Gazette Volume IV, 1917. He was killed during the Battle of Cambrai, in the German counter-attack on 30 November 1917. A full account of this engagement is given in The War History of the First Battalion Queen's Westminster Rifles 1914-1918 by J Q Henriques (Medici, 1923).
